Hand-Carved Arma Christi Crucifix
An elaborate hand-carved wooden Passion Cross, centred around a finely carved corpus, possibly made of bone. The surrounding composition incorporates the Arma Christi — symbolic instruments associated with the Crucifixion — including a ladder, rooster, lantern and drapery.
A highly decorative piece of Central European religious folk art, likely dating from the early 20th century.
