Elegant late 19th-century Dutch games box in mahogany, richly inlaid with mother-of-pearl floral decoration and a central playing-card motif.
The interior opens to reveal four fitted drawers, each marked with a suit symbol, containing a large collection of original bone gaming counters. A beautifully made and highly decorative object for a desk, library or collector’s cabinet.
