Full of flowers
Author Takashi Murakami
*Adapted from Kaikaikiki, 17 May 2025.
This piece is based on an illustration used on a trading card.
The drawing was originally intended for display on the museum's glass surface, but was ultimately not used in the exhibition, The episode is that it was later unveiled in the form of a limited-edition trekking card. The screen is filled with smiling faces of flower girls.
The colours and expressions differ from one to another, but when viewed as a whole, there is harmony, The composition is as if they form a single flower garden.
The surface has a soft glossy finish.
The outline of the flowers is slightly shimmering depending on the light,
The result is a finish that allows you to enjoy the difference between the impression from afar and the texture when seen up close.
