Thaddeus van Eijsden (in full Thaddeus Gumaris Johannes van Eijsden, also known as Ted / Theo van Eijsden) was a Dutch painter. Thaddeus van Eijsden started painting at a young age and became part of the New Hague School after the Second World War. In 1959 he was awarded the Jacob Hartog Prize and in 1960 the Jacob Maris Prize, both prizes from Pulchri Studio in The Hague where Van Eijsden regularly had exhibitions as a working member. Van Eijsden's work differs from realistic art (such as Circus in The Hague) to more abstract works.
